This past weekend, Nicky Romero destroyed the Ultra Music Festival main stage and reminded everyone why he’s still one of the best. During his set, Nicky played out his latest collaboration with Volt & State, “Warriors”, which is already making its rounds in the festival anthem circuit.
In addition to a killer performance, Nicky had the chance to sit down with Beatport to talk about his upcoming music and projects. Nicky revealed that he is currently working on a stellar collaboration with legend Nile Rodgers that was built entirely around one guitar riff.
In addition to new music, Nicky Romero revealed his latest venture into video games. Being a gamer himself, Nicky Romero has been working on a way to integrate music with his other passions. The game features reward systems that can win you items such as speakers and CO2 cannons, and feature custom music. 
With the gaming industry and EDM being almost entirely the same demographic, it’s not hard to see an easy transition to make the music more interactive.
