Your EDM’s Top Acts To See At Ultra

Bassnectar

We really, REALLY hope the Ultra infrastructures are secure, because Bassnectar will be testing their limits Saturday night. Without much competition in his time slot (Axwell Λ Ingrosso are on the main stage), the attention will really be on Lorin, whose army of fans will overcrowd the live stage. Though we’re curious as to why they wouldn’t put such a big name as his on the Main Stage at a different time, it will still be interesting to see what stunning visuals he brings over from his “Noise vs. Beauty” tour. Photo by Rukes

Galantis

“You” was the arguably the most played track at last year’s Winter Music Conference. Added to a beast of a Coachella set and debut EP weeks later, Galantis quickly became the belles of the ball.  Last month, they released their newest single, the feel good ballad “Gold Dust” that’s sure to rock the crowd at Ultra. We’re excited to check out these guys live, especially because we love the Seafox, their mascot and main character in all their stage visuals. Photo from InTheMix

Zeds Dead

We’re really happy to see Zeds Dead on Ultra’s lineup this year, especially as a closing act on Friday’s Ultra Korea Stage. Like many of the artists on this list, it’s hard to tell what kind of set the Canadian duo will play. While they’re known for their face-melting bass, they also play trap, and just released a future house collab with Oliver Heldens which will probably show up somewhere in their set too. Photo by OhDagYo

Krewella

Love em or hate em, you know you’re curious as hell to see Krewella’s first performance without Rain Man. Though sisters Jahan and Yasmeen have played shows and festivals without him, this will the be first time without speculation of Kris Trindle’s whereabouts. As they’re in the midst of a major legal battle and constant public scrutiny, their every move has been met with an excess of comments, both good and bad. Their performance on Ultra’s Live Stage will be no different, especially now as the two begin to release their new, edgier music. Photo by Veld Music Festival

Tchami

Tchami

We first got a taste of Tchami at festivals last year with Hard Summer LA, but now that future house is the latest craze, Tchami is even more of a must see. He recently announced his After Life EP, complete with a music video and a track of the same name. For those looking to groove with a steady flow of energetic music you’re not normally used to, Tchami could be your new favorite act at Ultra. Photo by Christina Kuhlmann

Cashmere Cat

As one of our writers pointed out, Milo & Otis are hype trap, but Cashmere Cat is sex trap. If that sentence alone doesn’t sell you on Cashmere Cat then there’s nothing else we can say that’s going to get you to see him at Ultra. This bright producer is currently on tour with Ariana Grande, who lent her vocal talents to his latest track “Adore.” When he’s not working with pop stars, he’s in the studio with rappers like Ludacris, Wiz Khalifa, and even DJ Mustard. If you’re into Ryan Hemsworth, Lido, and the like, you might want to take a dance break and just vibe out to Cashmere Cat on Sunday. Photo by Steffen Kørner Ludvigsen

Jauz

With the backing of Mad Decent, newcomer Jauz has quickly moved up the ranks as one of today’s favorite DJs. Though his music does have future house characteristics, Jauz adds a stunning extra layer of bass into his productions, taking his already filthy music to a brand new level. He’s the type of DJ who will draw fans of all types, from bass freaks to house heads and beyond. Photo by OhDagYo!

Honorable mention Bixel Boys, Dixon
