New-York based duo The Disco Fries will be releasing their new EP Autonomous on April 6 via their label Liftoff Recordings. The genre-bending album combines rock, pop and electronic and features collaborations with 311 frontman Nick Hexum, Our Lady Peace vocalist Raine Maida, Breathe Carolina, and Hope Murphy (full tracklist at end of post). The EP is now available for pre-order and includes the single “Head in the Clouds,” which features Hexum.
Our mini-album Autonomous was named simply because we have had the freedom to act independently on this project from the very beginning. In short, we created all of the music purely how we wanted, without ’suit’ influence, or even worrying a whole lot about what style the music was. – Nick & Danny, The Disco Fries
