As part of the marketing campaign to promote the 8-speed dual clutch 2016 ILX, Acura has put together a playlist of eight tracks from eight emerging producers free for download, including the newest festival favorites Plastic Plates and Amtrac. According to the statement on Acura’s tumblr page, “We teamed up with 8 emerging artists to create a playlist of 8 original tracks, so you can ride to unique rhythms that complement every gear of the lightning-fast and comfortably smooth #ILX2016.” While I can’t personally attest to their claims, if the music is at all reflective of the car it intends to promote, it’s definitely smooth and well crafted.
