It was shown with their last release that Young Bombs are capable of producing more than one style and that is demonstrated again in their latest. For their remix of Zella Day’s “Compass”, they decided to switch their sound again and go for a more laid back approach. It does have a slight house feel to it, but there is some heavy ambient and downtempo vibes as well. Overall, it is another nice departure from the norm for the duo. It is always a pleasant sign when a producer can produce quality music outside of their original style and the Young Bombs have proved they are capable of doing so. In addition to that, they made this song for their girlfriends, and we all know what that means (they are currently in healthy relationships).
