Skrillex is a world-renowned talent, but there is no denying that his biggest fan base lies in the Americas. Central and South America’s EDM fan-pools are much bigger than the ethnocentric United States might admit, and for that reason headliners from around the world have been travelling to various renditions of traditionally North American or European festivals in Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Mexico & more.
This past weekend was the instance of Lollapalooza Chile, held in the capital of Santiago. Lolla brought along with them the likes of Calvin Harris, DJ Snake, Dillon Francis, (obviously) Skrillex & many more acts from the realm of EDM and beyond. But the most notable performance had to have been Sonny tearing up the main stage.
The crowd loved it, and we do too. So check out the majority of his set in either audio form or the audio/video from the live stream below; unfortunately the stream missed the first 20-30 minutes of his set, but what remains is well worth the listen.
