Kryptogram – Bless It

When done well, brass instruments on house beats are like a gooey fried egg on a juicy burger, two worlds colliding for harmonic bliss. The latest collision course is Kryptogram’s “Bless It”, with the Chicago producer wielding a saxophone as his brass weapon of choice, and wielding it beautifully. The track reels you in with that familiar brooding house bassline, then smacks you back out to the dancefloor with a saxophone/vocal combo that just feels good. Crisp, fresh, and groovy, “Bless It” encompasses the holy trinity of a great house track. And with other gems like “Rhodes (Love U)” under Kryptogram’s belt, it’s only a matter of time before everybody’s groovin’ to his tracks too.
