marshmello has some serious beats, man. I’m telling you. This one was released 6 days ago but he (she?) already has two more tracks up on Soundcloud.
The thing that sets this track apart from others is its progression. It has such a natural flow to it, everything comes in just as you would expect it to, and often it surprises you, too. The track never remains stagnant for very long, throwing in extra little bits – a bassline here, some hi hats there, snare rolls here, synths over there – it keeps things fresh and makes sure that the track is in a constant state of flux. It keeps you on your toes, which means it keeps you dancing, too.
The track is tagged as “deep bounce” on Soundcloud, but it has very little elements of bounce and lots of elements of everything else.
