Monstercat Unveils New Artist Karma Fields

Monstercat is one of the most internet relevant labels in existence right now, commanding millions upon millions of streams on most any music service you can name. With regular podcasts and a massive & eager fan-base, their sights are set on the future. Taking steps to evolve even further as a label, Monstercat is taking their talents to a new domain and delving into management of select artists.

Haywyre is a shining example of the success that Monstercat has seen in directly translating an incredible producer to live touring and a gorgeous brand, capped by a Red Rocks and Electric Forest performance set for this year thanks to co-conspirators AM Only.

Now get ready, because the hype train is getting ready to depart for a new Monstercat star beginning today.

After hacking into Monstercat’s weekly podcast for an unexpected artist reveal, Karma Fields has arrived with the debut release “Build The Cities” featuring Kerli

And I don’t think there is any doubt in anyone’s mind that this is one helluva project. Right from the beginning the captivating voice of Kerli shines alongside quintessential melodies and gorgeous sound-scapes to create a truly feel-heavy & vibrant record. As “Build The Cities” progresses it soon becomes apparent that Karma Fields is not messing around on this initial track, where electro influences develop throughout the nearly four minute expanse to lend an enthralling vibe before descending into a deep, dirty, and mysterious 16-bar drop. All-in-all this one will leave you yearning for a dance floor and dim lights surrounded by your favorite people on earth.

The only thing more I want from this record is an extended mix; I just can’t get enough.
