Zedd & Selena Gomez Collaboration Is About To Break A New Record

Wow, what a crazy last few weeks for the internet. With the Jack U album, escaping llamas, the Zedd & Selena Gomez’s collaboration and a clearly blue & black dress, it’s been hard to catch a break. But, as the storm passes, the first bit on statistics are rolling in. Less than 10 days after the official release, the Zedd & Selena Gomez collaboration is already about to break a new record.

sporting close to 7 million plays on Youtube, the collaboration’s hype has been fueled by the budding relationship between Zedd and Selena and the curiosity of the edm/pop crossover. Nielsen Music has reported that the track has already sold over 12,000 downloads, which in this day and age, is a fantastic start. “I Want You To Know” has also skyrocketed to land itself in the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Song Chart.

This marks Zedd’s sixth top 10 placement in the charts which ties him with Calvin Harris for the most in the chart’s history. With few artists even close to competing for the record, it’s interesting to note that both Zedd & Calvin Harris are on the charts for their more pop produced tracks. Regardless, “I Want You To Know” will soon join the ranks of Zedd’s best charting tracks. Check out the track below:
