The newest kid on PRMD Music, run by Avicii’s manager, is iSHi. What sets him apart from the rest of the rabble is this dude makes hip hop, not EDM.
As the first artist signed on PRMD that breaks away from the mold, fans and listeners are eagerly awaiting his debut LP to drop later this year. But his first single, a collaboration with Virginia-rapper Pusha T officially dropped yesterday on Spotify.
“Push It” is a go hard or go home type of track that pushes the hip hop sound and works to bridge that gap between the two different scenes. Pusha T is no stranger to EDM collabs, either, having been featured on Chase & Status’ Brand New Machine and Yogi’s “Burial.”
