Hudson Mohawke Remixes ‘All Over The World’ by Above & Beyond

Back in January, UK’s trance trio Above & Beyond released their fourth studio album (fifth if you include their OceanLab album Sirens Of The SeaWe Are All We Need. Since then, the album has been met with paramount praise and significant success after the hype singles such as “Blue Sky Action”, “Sticky Fingers”, and “Hello” created months earlier. Although the album has been out for over a month and a half, it appears that singles will continue to pour out of this album. The latest single “All Over The World” is the next song to take the spotlight.

Along with the rest of the LP, “All Over The World” utilizes the vocals of Alex Vargas in another superb creation from our Group Therapy boys. However, this time the A&B tune gets a remix from none other than Scottish producer and DJ Hudson Mohawke. Part of the releases of yesterday where Friday’s are becoming the new music Mondays, the latest remix out on Anjunabeats redirects the energy of the original 128 bpm and slides it into a heavenly-trap 135 bpm. Hudson’s gift is being able to take an Above & Beyond song composed of such emotional majesty, flipping it around completely, and still maintaining the rhythmic wonder within an ambient transformation. Truly, this is an incredible remix brought to us by one of the most unexpected and well established names in electronic music.
