After releasing his Drive album nearly a year ago, Gareth Emery brings a new twist to his roadtrip-inspired album. Drive Refueled features remixes by Cosmic Gate, James Egbert, Omnia, MarLo and more. Within the 22-track album, “U” featuring Bo Bruce gets 4 different remix treatments including a hardstyle remix by Coone and electro-infused beats by W&W. Deorro puts his electro-house spin on “Lights and Thunder” and Grum blends trance and disco to “Firebird.”
The original Drive — which hit the #1 spot on the US iTunes Dance Chart last April — was Gareth’s stepping away from the big-room festival sounds and returning to an emphasis on melody, and the remix album is equally inspiring with each track receiving a new interpretation ranging from trance and progressive house to electro and hardstyle.
