Consciousness is the brand new debut EP from English bass producer Trampa, out today on Never Say Die Records’ ‘Black Label’ offshoot. Keeping with the heavy dubstep feel, this EP also has a welcomed fresh feel to it, with Trampa firmly putting his stamp upon the popular genre. The opening and title track ‘Consciousness’ is one of the standout tracks, with an energetic lead synth taking centre stage throughout the drop, whilst being supported by the low end thudding kicks and sub bass.
‘Rise Up’ and ‘Real Shit’ are still impressive productions, split by a Cookie Monsta collaboration that brings us ‘Move The Crowd’. Trampa has been brave enough to push the boat out and give us a taste of a truly unique sound, which has most definitely pulled off.
Out today, Consciousness is available here.
