British Columbia’s Squamish Valley Music Festival, formerly known as Live at Squamish, is returning to the picturesque Logger Sports Grounds and Centennial Fields this summer for its sixth year. SVMF has consistently brought out quality acts from a wide variety of genres since its conception, with previous headliners including Weezer, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Pretty Lights, and Major Lazer.
This year’s headliners include Drake, indie band Mumford & Sons, and Grammy-winning singer Sam Smith, as well as EDM superstars such as Kaskade, Adventure Club, and Porter Robinson. Porter will be bringing his incredible live set to SVMF, which was one of my personal favorite shows of 2014. Other notable acts of the dance music persuasion include Odesza, A-Trak, Tchami, Hannah Wants, Slow Magic, and Gorgon City, with many more diverse acts sure to satisfy any music lover.
The festival will take place from August 7-9 in Squamish, with public ticket sales opening on February 26th. Visit the SVMF site for more festival FAQ, and check back here for tickets.
