Calvin Harris‘ label has been relatively silent in the past few months. Aside from Harris’ own releases and a remix from Hardwell, Fly Eye Records hasn’t been making much of a splash in the music world. Mightyfools & Mike Hawkins are here to change that with “Shots Fired.” The track is unapologetically in your face, a true match to Mightyfools’ previous productions like “Garuda”. It’s also a controlled explosion of sound, a nod to Mike Hawkins who recently released “Desert Storm” with JETFIRE last month. These two acts are what collaborations are supposed to be: different approaches to dance music producing a track that features the strongest qualities of both without overpowering each other. “Shots Fired” is out today on Fly Eye Records and is available exclusively on Beatport.
