Today, just over a year after the release of The Glitch Mob‘s legendary album “Love Death Immortality,” the timeless trio have unveiled a complete remix album featuring an extremely diverse and talented group of artists.
With the likes of Bassnectar, Nadastrom, Chrome Sparks & many more making an appearance on this 18 track compilation, it’s apparent that the self-owned group has established a resounding reputation in the world of electronic music.
Our personal favorite rendition, Mord Fustang‘s remix of “Carry The Sun,” we are delighted to bring to you today as an exclusive premiere. The six minute long record touches back to his roots with an intricate electro breakdown and gritty bass-line that ride under clever sampling and tasteful melodies; showing homage to the original while still maintaining a unique and refreshing vibe. This remix is a masterpiece, and most welcome from a crowd favorite such as Mord Fustang who has been experimenting with different styles as of late.
“We’ve been following Mord Fustang for a while now. His production sensibility is top notch — and we thought that his fun, high energy, precision vibe would mix well with ‘Carry The Sun’.”

As for the rest of the remixes, Joe Trapanese was my unexpected favorite with a massive remix of “Can’t Kill Us” that features heavy orchestral influences and thunderous bass. Between this, Pair Of Arrows‘ transcendent version of “Our Demons,” and Bassnectar‘s incredulous twist on “Beauty of the Unhidden Heart,” I’m one happy Mobber.

One thing I must add before leaving you guys to enjoy this awesome LP: The Glitch Mob are one of the best live acts in electronic music and I highly suggest you check out their 2015 tour dates to see if they’re playing near you.
