MTVu Nominates Porter Robinson for Artist of the Year

The last year has been a truly impressive one for Porter Robinson and it seems he’s finally being properly recognized for his artistry. Though The Grammys passed over his ground-breaking album, Worlds, the good people at MTV are giving him the acknowledgement his work deserves with a nomination for Artist of the Year at the MTVu Woodie Awards. This is no small honor, as the other nominees include the talents of Run the Jewels, J. ColeSam Smith, and several others.

Other players from the EDM arena are also being recognized; Jack U Kieza‘s hit ‘Take U There’ has been nominated for Best Collaboration, while Kygo is in the running for Best Emerging Artist.
