After a year that resulted in three Billboard Dance Top 10’s, Tritonal are switching things up a bit. Though we haven’t seen the last of vocal tracks like “Colors,” “Anchor,” and “Now or Never,” Chad & Dave’s first original of 2015 is a good old-fashioned club banger. Introducing “Ginsu,” a synth-heavy instrumental that’s sure to make the rounds this year. “Ginsu” still has the classic Tritonal vibe – melodic, edgy chords – but pays homage to their roots. For a duo that has spent the past two years redefining their sound, it’s the perfect blend for Tritonians old and new.
“When we started ‘Ginsu’, we wanted to capture the melodic energy of some of the trance records we had so much fun making in the past such as “Slave” & “Suzu.” Although we’ve moved away from that sound, we think we nailed the spirit of those days while delivering a super-charged melody that will rock our sets for most of 2015! We’re currently knee deep in studio work writing our next artist album. We couldn’t be more excited to put out a hard club record with two of our favorite producers, Willem & Ward. MainStage is the perfect label for Ginsu!!” – Chad Cisneros
The track was premiered on W&W’s Mainstage podcast, which you can listen to below. “Ginsu” is officially out on February 23 courtesy of Mainstage Music.
