Ten days ago I posted the original “Butterscotch” track and absolutely loved it.
Today, I’m bringing you a small, but significant, edit from Bridges, a duo of Frank Hudson & Jake Thomas. The original played on the minimalism of trap, messing around with horns, claps and a gritty bassline and that’s pretty much it. Bridges’ edit traps it up further, giving it a deeper and more profound sound in the drop. In the end though, it’s just an edit, so the adjustments are minor.
I would love to see a full remix from these guys, it seems they have the chops to turn this track on its head and really unveil another side to it.
