Covex Delivers Neuro Remix of “Some Chords”

Many remixes of Deadmau5‘ “Some Chords” are out there, but out of all that I have listened to I have found one that possesses a very captivating sound. This remix comes from Colorado native Covex and I had the pleasure of being able to hear this remix live when he opened for Alvin Risk on his Venture tour. Experiencing Covex’s music live was enough to convince me he has a bright future ahead of him, as his performing and producing skills are on point. He actually remixed the Dillon Francis version of this tune. When you first start listening you aren’t sure what to expect, which leaves a lot to the imagination. Out of nowhere you get a huge amount of bass and neuro vibes, which sounds amazing at a live performance or at home. There’s just the right amount of dubstep to compliment the neuro beats throughout the track, and the piano at the closing was a perfect way to end it. Be sure to check out more from Covex, as his diverse music should not go unnoticed. You can listen to his Some Chords remix on Beatport here10968182_10204719459238894_545600206_n
