One word came to mind when we saw this lineup: epic. The level of talent on display here is utterly insane, with everything from dance music staples like Bassnectar and Kaskade to jam band all-stars like The String Cheese Incident and Lotus. Clearly, Insomniac and Madison House have pulled out all the stops to make sure this year’s Electric Forest is an event unlike any other, a mecca not just for EDM fanatics, but for lovers of all music. Dubstep and big room headliners rub shoulders with funk and blues music, trance and trap names sit next to revered hip-hop and indie electronica artists. With the saturation of music festivals at an all-time high, this wonderfully diverse lineup is a sight for sore eyes.
