While Buzzfeed may often be maligned for their rather pointless articles and reprehensible clickbait tactics, they put out a nugget of earnest truth every so often that strikes the hearts of the common folk.
I’m of course referring to their “11 Problems DJs Know Too Well” video that hit Facebook yesterday. There has been no shortage of these videos, and Buzzfeed’s will not be the last, but this one has a strange attraction to it. Perhaps it’s the manbun, or maybe the talk of being a “real or fake” DJ, but it’s a hilarious representation of what so many open-format DJs and young electronic DJs deal with when just starting out (or even later, too).
