2014 came to a close in style for John Dahlback, with a phenomenal release alongside Kaskade and then a festive “12 Days of Dahlback” closing the final days, with the energetic free download “Riot” that welcomed the dirtier sounds of Dahlback back into the airwaves. “Breaking Your Locks” comes as a collaboration with Albin Myers, together known as “Myback”.
It certainly is a fresh and welcomed sound shining a new light upon the dance music scene, with a body shaking drop dominated by an aggressive bass line, “Breaking Your Locks” is one to make a crowd bounce. At the opposite end of the spectrum, the break plays host to the mesmerizing vocal of Olivera, who brings a unique euphoria to the calmer sections.
