Pentatonix Wins Grammy For Daft Punk A Cappella Medley

The famous group comprised of Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstie Maldonado, Avi Kaplan and Kevin Olusola, known as Pentatonix has just been awarded the Grammy for their A Cappella medley of classic Daft Punk songs. Their recording was initially released on YouTube and has now been streamed over 100 million times and growing. The close to 5 minute long video sees the group of 6 shuffle through some of the French duo’s most notorious tracks, such as Technologic, One More Time, Get Lucky, Digital Love and more. Following the video, the group saw a rapid rise to fame, leading to their current tour “On My Way Home” as well as the aforementioned Grammy in the category of Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Capella.
