Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk has reportedly made music for an upcoming French film titled Gates of The Sun. Scheduled for a March 8th international release, the movie will follow an Algerian secret agent as he attempts to stop an undercover paramilitary organization from attacking Algeria. The feature will star retired professional boxer, Mike Tyson.
Guy-Manuel reportedly provided the original score for the final scene of which will suitably take place in a nightclub. The music is credited to Le Knight Club, which is De Homem-Christo’s side project with Eric Chedeville. Chedeville co-founded the Crydamoure label alongside De Homem-Christo in 1997 and composed the film’s theme music.
