GRiZ, everybody’s favorite funk-pushing outlaw, just made our day. As if to flood our newsfeed with good vibes and things to happily look forward to, he’s announced several exciting developments via Facebook and the feels are most definitely real.
First off, we have a new GRiZ album to look forward to! The very appropriately titled Say It Loud will be dropping sometime in March. And what better way to hype up an album than by taking it on the road? The Say It Loud tour will kick off in early April and run until mid-May, spanning the entire US with stops in Canada. Musical support will be provided by The Floozies, Exmag, Artifakts, and Muzzy Bearr, all supremely talented funk & bass slingers. Tickets for the tour are on sale now and can be purchased here.
Secondly, to get you extra hyped on the new album and the upcoming tour, GRiZ has released a new single from Say It Loud! It’s called ‘Stop Trippin’, and once those syrupy smooth bass lines & gritty guitar riffs kick in, you’ll do exactly that. Not to mention iDA Hawke‘s vocals, which definitely take the track to the next level. According to the man himself, ‘Stop Trippin’ is especially for all the ladies out there going hard and doing their thing. Give it a listen after the jump and let the good vibes carry you through the day!
