G Jones – New Beats 2015 Mix

The day we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. The brand new mix from bass music mastermind G Jones has dropped today and it is just marvelous. Make sure you pick this up while it’s hot!

Official Press Release:

Following his meteoric rise to prominence in the international bass music community last year, Northern California beatmaker G Jones drops a fresh 40 minute mixtape comprised of 19 unreleased original beats and collaborations, simply titled “New Beats 2015”. Picking up where G Jones’ notorious “Live at Low End Theory 2/26/14” set left off, New Beats 2015 showcases G Jones elastic and uncategorizable style of electronic beats, with monumental waves of sub bass at every BPM imaginable. “New Beats 2015” is a journey through unexpected combinations of sounds that flow across a spectrum that ranges from 303 acid grime to 58 bpm experimental techno-trap all the way to to dubstep-influenced unquantized hip hop beats and back again without missing a beat. In addition to a formidable grip of new G Jones originals, this latest mixtape features collaborations with the Berlin based beat maestro Mad Zach, as well as a premiere of a previously unheard of collaborative alias to be called Nite School Klik, and even a highly anticipated collaboration with legendary grime emcee Footsie of Newham Generals – an unexpected and novel unity of Californian beat culture and UK grime. Fresh out of Jones’ lab in Santa Cruz, California, “New Beats 2015” teases us with a glimpse of what G Jones has in store for 2015 and beyond.
