Alison Wonderland Drops New Tune, Album Release Date

This is your final warning: if you’re not up on Alison Wonderland you will soon regret it. Let’s start from the top: Alison is an Australian traplord who promises to “make you shake your ass like Beyonce on crack.” Over the last year she’s dropped tracks like “Get Ready,” “Lies,” and “I Want U,” all while making multiple Triple J exclusive mixes. This year, she’s already started off with a bang, as she was recently announced as a performer for Coachella in April. While her touring schedule won’t be heavy until then, she’s been focusing on her craft, resulting in the first single of the year “U Don’t Know” ft. Wayne Coyne, the lead singer of The Flaming Lips. Wayne and Alison’s vocals pack a serious 1-2 punch, forbidden harmonies warning the listener before that trap beat kicks back in. If you’re like me and are already craving more from this rising star, you’re in luck: Alison Wonderland also announced this week that her album Run would be out on March 20. The album features tracks with Djemba Djemba, Lido, and many more talented artists.

Unfortunately for US fans, I Want U doesn’t come out in the states until February 10, but you lucky Aussies can grab the track now. For the meantime, listen to the preview on Soundcloud and pre-order Run now.
