Madeon was the child pioneer that brought it to the main stage, but Novation‘s Ableton Launchpad has been a favorite of Ableton fan boys for quite some time now.
Thankfully, the kind folks at Novation have upgraded the traditional Launchpad to a new, pro version. Featuring a back-lit 8 by 8 grid with RGB led’s and pressure sensitive buttons, this is by no means a total overhaul. However it does contain some seriously helpful upgrades ranging from increased functionality to a sleeker aesthetic.
Although no final date or price has been set, the product is hitting music technology conventions as of today so we hope to find out soon.
