Who doesn’t love free music? In celebration of their one year anniversaries, Hotel Garuda and Prince Fox released a new track last week. It’s hard to believe that both projects are only celebrating their first calendar year: Together, Manilla Killa & Candleweather have been making steady waves since releasing their “White Noise” remix. Recently they’ve really begun to push harder to breakthrough, including playing at this year’s BPM Festival. For NYU student Prince Fox, the balance between music and school has also started to shift in a new direction, as his remix for 3lau‘s “How You Love Me,” exponentially grew his fan base. These two acts have amassed 16 million plays combined on Soundcloud in just their first year, an outstanding feat for DJs on any caliber.
It’s great to see two like minded projects collaborate to completely flip an already stellar track. This future pop/bass cover wins not only because of it’s house groove, but because Prince Fox provides the base for the track’s manipulated vocals. Fans of Oliver Heldens and Tchami need to download this immediately, but be warned, this cover goes much harder.
