I typically don’t like to mess with higher tempo house tunes these days. Usually higher tempo correlates to the elements of big room that I grown infinitely tired of. However, HighLight has avoided the pitfalls of the mainstream and used high-tempo house to infuse energy to the underground sound.
Simply put, his latest single Bajo is an energetic house tune with an equally infectious bassline. Thankfully, Bajo avoided the Oliver Helden’s mid to high register sound while still maintain the underground credo throughout. The bassline is carefully crafted and infectious with a swing that gives the filtered line a element of housey goodness.
