The Prodigy Release First Single From New Album ‘Nasty’

The wait is finally over, and I’m really happy to announce that The Prodigy still sounds like The Prodigy.

Which when you think about it, isn’t really that surprising. They’ve had their own unique sound for a very long time, and they’ve said that this album will be their best work yet.

The track itself is what some would categorize as “Big Beat”, but I doubt that The Prodigy would appreciate being pigeon-holed into any single category or genre. The track is energetic and perfectly reflects lead singer Keith Flint’s visceral and gargantuan vocals. Rather than any kind of rise and fall, the track remains at the same energy throughout the entire nearly four minutes, fairly characteristic of a Prodigy track.

The Day Is My Enemy is out on March 30th, you can find the pre-order links below the video.
