Rihanna has made no secret of her use of EDM in her productions.
Her collaboration with Calvin Harris on the track “We Found Love” made huge waves, even though she rejected his new track for her album.
Still, she decided to go the Avril Lavigne route and completely butcher any resemblance that her “song” once had to “EDM.” 
“World Peace” is alledgedly a leaked track from her new album R8 (an insult to the car sharing the same name) and has an innocent enough message. Though behind the poppy, hopeful lyrics is a rather disturbing synth wave and a really generic 4×4 beat. It’s pretty much mass produced pop music with Rihanna on the mic.
If this is any indication of how the rest of the album will be, I’m going to give it a failing grade right now and be done with it.
