Oliver Heldens took to social media today to announce his free remix of “Return Of The Mack” by Lady Bee Ft. Rochelle.
However it almost appears that the Dutchman merely replaced vocals from his “Latch” remix, to be used as a cheap substitute for a future release. Listen below to the two side by side, and leave us your thoughts.
Grab the free download here for “Return Of The Mack” (Oliver Heldens Remix).
Here’s what Oli had to say about it:
Hey guys,
because of your huge support, I wanted to give you this free download. Since it’s also supposed to be released on Spinnin’, the download will only be available till 8-1-2015, so download it now and spread the word 🙂
Enjoy!
And a happy new year of course.Oli

who gives a f**k really he made it so he can use it however he wants
This isn’t about integrity; this is a power move. He had issues with the label, so he released it in a form his fans can enjoy… 🙂
He explains himself in the twitter picture. Title is misleading, like he meant to do it and was sneaky about it.
You guys are idiots
See all of the remixes on his soundcloud were taken down once he signed with spinning so you can’t blame him if he wants to release this drop just putting it with different vocals
There’s no such thing as a ‘DROP’ in House music. Pls take your EDM lingo and GTFO
this is retarded. if his music really came from the heart he wouldn’t just chuck the drop from one song to another! I hate the current ‘let’s make future house because white bitches will buy it and make me rich’ attitude
Lol hella click bait title. At least try and explain why in the article and not make him out to be a money grubber. (Although, his double PAID releases of both Gecko and Koala were ridiculous.)
i don’t get the big deal? its not the first time a producer has recycled a beat
Artistic integrity I guess is no longer a thing in deep house….
Artistic integrity I guess is no longer a thing in deep house….
This is actually second time tbf
who cares, it’s still amazing
That’s bad Ollie, really bad…
He spend time and effort producing a track that didn’t get released, I fully understand and support him
