In a surprising turn of events, the electronic band known for anime and video game influences, Anamanaguchi, have stated over twitter that they will not be including any chiptune in their upcoming third album [USA], due out next year. That being said, one of the bands’ members said over their twitter page that one song would remind a younger him of “Guchi Maximum,” likely meaning something like “this is us in our purest form.” Then again… who knows for sure?
Whatever direction they end up taking with this new album, I’ll be eaglerly awaiting its release.
The album titled [USA] will be their third release, following up Dawn Metropolis in 2009 and Endless Fantasy in 2013.
New album [USA] coming 2015. In the meantime… singles 🙂

i know i said [USA] will not be a chiptune album, but it will feature a song that 2004-era mii would consider to be Guchi Maximum.
