The jungle vibes are strong in this one… and I’m not talking about dnb jungle, no. I’m talking about like deep in the woods, indigenous tribesmen coming to take you away kind of jungle.
At the intersection of deep dub and glitch hop, we find Kong Speaks. This track “Undulate” does just that and more. The sound design and mixing on this track is superb, giving off a deep and sinister vibe, sort of like a ritual or ceremony where someone might be sacrificed. The tribal drums and sinister echoed growls amidst the deep, dark bassline create a magnificent soundscape.
