You might be surprised to learn that [Adult Swim] actually has quite the compendium of electronic music. Found at adultswim.com/music/, there are multiple albums available for purchase and for free download.
On deck right now is actually a free 13-track album titled Ghostly Swim 2, full of downtempo and underground house by some rather unknown names like CFCF and Patricia, and one slightly more well-known name, Shigeto. Most of the names on the album have a following of less than 5,000 on Facebook, so it’s nice to see them get a platform as well-established as [Adult Swim], though not necessarily for music.
Like I said before, this album is heavily focused on downtempo and soft vibes. There’s a lot of cosmic and empty space in these tracks, perhaps nice for meditation. This is the second installation of Ghostly Swim – the first was from around 2009 or 2010, early enough that the embedded player still had an option to embed in your MySpace account.
