Festival season might be done for 2014, but next year is to be packed with incredible music that’s coming out right now. May I introduce you to two zealous tracks from Miami-native Henrix that will play out in nine out of ten DJ sets throughout 2015. He presents his latest endeavors with one track called “Light” which blends funk with rage and another called “Feel Alive” of the progressive house nature.
As you click play on “Light”, listeners are engaged with a ridiculous synth-guitar riff. Right after, listeners are thrown a French house curveball to throw them off from the incoming electro fury to come. At a minute and forty-five seconds, Henrix delivers savage bass-laced growls and recaptures the “Miami sound” he has so delicately crafted over the years.

The second production is a free download called “Feel Alive” and takes a completely different approach from the prior tune. In addition to incredible vocals that infect listeners with a desire to sing along, this song delivers powerful melodic drop after drop and lets the beat carry out its electronic magnitude. What’s also great about this tune is that Henrix released the acapella for other producers to try their hands at remixing “Feel Alive” to their liking.

Henrix seems to have closed out 2014 in a most spectacular way, releasing two polarizing songs that anyone can get into. Both are truly magnificent pieces of electro and progressive house respectively and prove that Henrix will continue to be a name we see next year.
