Slumberjack have been one of my favorite discoveries of 2014. Everything from their edit of What So Not’s “Touched” to their groundbreaking EP has been absolute quality. Not intending to finish the year off without a bang, the Australian duo have dropped their massive remix of Alison Wonderland’s “Cold”. This remix breathes creativity in every nook and cranny; never is there a dull moment or a part of the song that feels like filler. What Slumberjack have managed to achieve with this remix is a progressive balance of trap and future beat that oozes creativity and originality. I think I might need to buy a second phone after listening to this remix as I’m all out of fire emojis.
