Diplo Makes Three Playlists for the Season

The world just received a wonderful gift from producer Diplo. To spice up the holidays, Diplo took the time to make three distinct Spotify playlists of different genres and stuffed with great tunes.

His first playlist is all about hip-hop. It includes music from rising artists Migos, Rae Sremmurd, ILoveMakkonen, O.T. Genasis, and K Camp to well established names Kanye West, 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla $ign, Danny Brown and more. From party tracks like “Shabba” by A$AP Ferg and A$AP Rocky to late evening driving tunes like “She” by Tyler The Creator and featuring Frank Ocean, it brings all ends of modern rap and summarizes the last four years into a 69 track playlist.

The second playlist enters the house realm. You will find productions from artist like Duke Dumont, Tchami, Oliver Heldens, Gregor Salto, and Bixel Boys infecting your body with groove pouring into your ears. Not nearly as filled with as many jams as Diplo’s Hip-Hop playlist, Diplo’s Future House holds true to its name with thirty songs of pure dance heaven.

The final playlist offers something a little rare to see on this site, yet still worth mentioning and enjoying. Diplo gives us a playlist consisting Psychedelic Rock and is littered with treasure tracks all over. Music here comes from modern acts Black Lips, Portugal. The Man, Butthole Surfers, and Black Moth Super Rainbow to old-school names from The Doors, The Yardbirds, The Beach Boys, and Jacques Dutronc. Click on any of these tracks and you will instantly fall in love with the trippy essence that emanates from each.

I recommend checking the playlist with the music you are least familiar with and hit play to get into as many new tunes as you can. If there’s something you don’t like, hit next until you find something for you. Between these three playlists, there’s definitely something here for everybody.
