Bay Area bass legend, Bassex, is back on Your EDM Records with a new sound and this time, he’s bringing along Brady Marshall for a venture into the frontier of electronic music. Taking new direction with this latest EP, Bassex finds a new and exciting world of sound, exploring future garage and deep house from his bass oriented production roots. The result is more than surprisingly pleasant as quality production skill remain a constant in his works. “Sexual Nature” and “G-Town Luv” take wubs to another level over some truly housey beats. It’s interesting to see deep house begin to incorporate more aggressive sounds as a few artists are doing as of late to create this entirely new sound that surely will be pushed even further into the spotlight in 2015.
