In a year that saw artists like Dusky dominate the Beatport Top 100 charts and Gorgon City perform on American television, it’s a massive milestone to see a deep house label announce a North American tour. Last week, London-based Anjunadeep released tickets for their first ever tour in early 2015. Between January 28 and February 7, the tour will hit Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, LA, New York, Toronto, and Chicago, each with a different combination of seven of Anjunadeep’s premiere artists (plus special guest):
16 Bit Lolitas – It’s been quite a renaissance for 16 Bit Lolitas this year. Not only did they release two EPs in six months (Beat Organ & and Deep in My Soul), but they remixed a slew of Anjuna artists like Above & Beyond, Parker & Hanson, and more.
Beckwith – The NYC native has home court advantage, especially at Verboten on February 5. With old school sounding tracks like “Take Me Home” ft. Natalie Conway, he’ll make every stop feel like a rowdy house party.
Jody Wisternoff – Responsible for mixing half of the yearly Anjunadeep compilations, Jody brings the wisdom of the label’s extensive catalog with him. The tour will be a long-awaited return to the US for one of Anjunadeep’s veterans.
Lancelot – This Australian DJ was one of the featured Anjunadeep artists at TomorrowWorld back in September, and was responsible for “Giving It Up,” one of the most popular Anjunadeep tunes of the year, which received even more attention after it was remixed by the legendary MK.
Lane 8 – He has been one of Anjunadeep’s breakout artists this year. Lane 8 kept busy this year with his February EP The One as well as an extensive tour schedule in Europe and North America. Not only did Lane 8 release quality productions like “Diamonds,” but his work was remixed by the likes of Klangkarussell, S.P.Y., and more.
Martin Roth – Martin Roth has been a model of consistency for underground artists. His productions have taken him to the top of the Beatport charts year after year, including “Mel” and “Maya” from the Anjunadeep 06 compilation this past summer.
Vincenzo – Vincenzo recently released his latest studio album The Vanishing Years, which has received a considerable amount of praise for the German native. His illustrious career has spanned over two decades, producing four studio albums and countless EP and mixes.
