In the midst of his Progression of Sound US Takeover Tour, EDX has given us the exclusive premiere on his brand new “Dubai Skyline Remix” of Nora En Pure & Sons of Maria’s “Uruguay.” 2014 has been a fantastic year for this Swiss-based producer/DJ as he’s developed the deeper side of his signature, melody-driven house music sound, gaining recognition with Beatport chart-toppers and sold-out shows. Although he just released his Collateral Effects EP last week, he’s already back at it with one last release to help him set a strong tone for the new year.
For this remix, EDX has tapped into inspiration from his travels to Dubai to bring a soulful vibe to “Uruguay.” He’s taken elements from the Nora En Pure & Sons of Maria original, and worked them into his own deep house number with new melodies and a groovy, minimal feel for a club-ready masterpiece.
