After the video surfaced last night of Richie Hawtin pushing a speaker on a fan during a show, the media blogs went a bit berserk in an effort to cover it quickly. Among the massive posts and updates on the situation, it would seem that Richie is extremely apologetic about the entire incident.

There was speculation that Richie was a tad bit intoxicated, but that’s purely speculation at this point. Whatever happened that night, we commend Richie for hopping back on social media as soon as he could to apologize. If anyone has any information that could connect the fan in question with Richie, please let us or him know.
