“Kim” is a person who lives in Japan and gave Big Steve Gee the ride of his life, but please get your mind out of the gutter. The literal drive prompted the creation of this song, which the producer is giving out for free, despite it coming out on his upcoming EP, Monogamy. This smooth tech house single does have a strong Asian vibe, with Eastern influences coming out strong in the track’s composition. “Kim” is a solid record that shows you don’t have to go balls to the wall (or one deeper) to make a good house tune. Big Steve created something that he could call his own and it shows. He is paving his own road, and I can only hope the rest of the EP is this intriguing.
