Just two weeks after Norin & Rad announced Bruce Karlsson’s departure to explore new genres and opportunities, Nick Sember is making his solo debut. While the Norin & Rad moniker will live on, Sember will also be releasing music on the Anjunabeats label under his own name. His first track “Forth” sets a massive precedent for his potential as an individual producer; aggressive opening drums draw in listeners before an onslaught of funky synths at the drop. Melodic piano chords really complete the track, making this an essential Anjunabeats tune. “Forth” has been featured multiple times on Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Radio Show, including their 100th live broadcast at Madison Square Garden last month. If this is just the first tune from Nick Sember, fans should keep an eye on all his aliases, as the next few months promise to be full of quality music from all sides.
