Crookers is back again, and it’s everything you’d expect. This time around, the now-solo act headed by Phra has remixed YOGI’s trapped out “Burial” featuring Pusha T.
The re-imagination is a minimal g-house thumper with attitude. The track slowly builds from basic drums into plucky synths. It goes quiet momentarily before winding back up and moving into a revved out beat that carries the track to Pusha T’s modulated vocals. Crookers proves yet again that he’s not going anywhere.
