Up and coming artists dropping lengthy projects is not something you see often, but Miami Marci decided to drop The SURRENDER EP recently and I’m glad he did. This free project comes with five goodies and an introductory snippet to get listeners ready for what is to come. All original work makes up the EP, with collaborations from the artists Trinere and Pretty Tony. For fans of tech,electro, house, techno, especially with a tinge of the obscure, these tracks are going to play right into your wheel house. Tracks like “Slate” and “NOVA” share a more mainstream sound, however to call them that would be absurd. More artists need to take the approach that Miami Marci did when sitting down to create something and release it to the world. Single free downloads are cool, but when someone takes the time to craft a full cohesive project, that is a whole other thing.
