Halloween is approaching and with it a slew of Halloween themed remixes and originals. One of the more notable spooky releases is “Whiiite Presents Halloween Volume 3” which is a collection of remixes by various producers, in various genres. There is excellent variety on this collection of tracks, everything from Alice Cooper to the Jaws Theme. It’s really cool to see how each producer pays homage to these classic songs and how they turn them into something new. The large amount of songs found means there should be something for everyone in this collection. Personally, my favorite song is James Egbert’s remix of “Thriller”. I really love how he kept it so close to the classic, but managed to make it so fresh. His manager explained he straight up recreated the track; the only thing he didn’t remake were the vocals.
